We remove only what's needed, so eyes stay natural, never harsh
When the upper lids feel heavy, most people lift their eyebrows with their forehead, without realizing it, just to open the eyes.
If a surgeon then removes only the eyelid skin, there is no longer any need to lift the brow. The eyebrow settles back down, the space between brow and eye narrows, and the forehead and frown lines can deepen.
That is why a natural result begins with a simple question: where should the eyebrow actually sit? The eyelid is the last step, not the first.
Because the outer brow usually drops more than the inner brow, these are often planned together. Your surgeon decides what you actually need, and nothing more.
First, the eyebrow is returned to its natural position. This restores the brow-to-eye distance and softens deep forehead and frown lines, so the eyes are no longer "held open" by the forehead.

Any remaining loose skin is removed from below the eyebrow, where the skin is thicker, while the delicate eyelid-crease skin is preserved. The lid is gently lifted without over-pulling, and the scar hides under the natural brow line.
Preserves thin eyelid skin
Finally the crease is created with a minimal incision, or with a non-incisional (natural adhesion) technique, for a soft, defined line that suits your face. Ptosis correction can be added if the eyes feel tired or uneven.

The key is to assess the brow and the sagging with the forehead fully relaxed. If you're lifting with your forehead, the real picture is hidden. A guide, not a diagnosis.
The skin along the crease is very thin. Taking too much can look "refreshed" at first, then leave the eyes unnaturally large and the expression sharp. That is how a "harsh" or "operated" look is made.
So at the eyelid we remove only what is truly needed, and take loose skin from the thicker area below the brow instead. The thin lid skin is preserved. The goal is you, refreshed, not you, operated on. (Results vary by individual.)

When the muscle that lifts the eyelid is weak, the eyes can look sleepy and you may rely on your forehead to open them. Ptosis correction adjusts that muscle so the eyes open more easily and evenly.
Often combined with a double eyelid line for a balanced, naturally brighter result.
The things people hesitate to ask — answered straight.
A "done" look usually comes from removing too much skin or setting a crease too high. By correcting the brow position first and removing only what's needed, the expression stays natural and the change looks like rest, not surgery.
For the sub-brow and brow lift, incisions are placed under the natural brow line and within the hairline, where they settle discreetly. The double eyelid line follows the crease. No surgeon can promise zero trace, and healing varies by person.
Not always. Many patients need only a double eyelid, or a sub-brow lift with a crease. We assess your brow and lids with the forehead relaxed, then combine only what's necessary. See the five cases above for a rough guide.
Yes. Revision is more demanding than a first surgery, but an uneven line, a crease set too high, or returning hooded skin can usually be improved with the right plan.
